Best GTX 1660 Ti Graphics Cards 2024

ZOTAC Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Graphics Card Super Compact

ZOTAC Gaming GeForce GTX 1660...
  • New Turing architecture
  • 6GB 192-bit GDDR6
  • Super Compact 8.3-Inch card, fits 99% of systems

ZOTAC Gaming’s GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is another compact and budget card with a simple matte black shroud. Apart from the compact form, it has a double fan. When it comes to performance, this GPU is not a highly performance oriented card compared to other units. Although ultimately this makes a good choice for people on a tight budget looking for a compact unit. It is also a better choice if you intend to use the graphics card on multiple displays.

One of the great features of this card is its small form factor. Measuring only 8.3 inches in width, ZOTAC says this card fits into 99% of systems. This is great news if you go for a micro PC version and need something smaller. In even better news, it doesn’t look like you’re losing much performance either. The ICESTORM 2.0 cooling hardware is what keeps this board running smoothly and cool. With three 6mm copper heat pipes, a wide array aluminum heat sink and two 90mm fans, there is more than enough cooling to cope with standard operating temperatures.

For cooling, the board comes with two fans with a heat sink with heat pipes. One very interesting thing about this cooler is that it has Dual Offset fans, where one fan is a relatively smaller fan than the other. This fan configuration allows for optimized static pressure and air flow. This is a dual slot card and one of the best budget GTX 1660 Ti cards as it sells at the original MSRP specified by Nvidia for the GTX 1660 Ti part number. The card requires an 8-pin PCIe connector for power and a good 450W power supply for operation. On the back of the card, you’ll get three DisplayPort ports and an HDMI port for display connectivity.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 OC Windforce

  • Powered by GeForce GTX 1660 integrated with 6GB GDDR5
  • Wind force 2x cooling system with alternate spinning fans
  • Intuitive controls with AORUS engine

The Gigabyte Windforce GTX 1660 Ti has two big advantages in its favor. The first is inherent in the name: the design of the Windforce cooler. While Windforce coolers don’t look as sleek and sexy as some other GPU models, they do their job and push the air quite well. This lends itself to the second benefit, a respectably high factory overclock of 1800 MHz. Thanks to the cooler design, this should lend itself well to a better overclocking margin. When all of this is available at MSRP, it’s hard not to take note. If you don’t mind a slightly longer length than the other 1660 Ti’s, the Gigabyte Windforce is the best MSRP GTX 1660 Ti.

Gigabyte has always been one of the premier video card offerings due to the sheer amount of cooling available. This card is slightly larger than some of the others we’ve covered today due to the fact that it uses three fans as part of its Windforce cooling system. These 80mm fans have an alternating rotational motion to help minimize turbulent airflow.

This card is almost identical to the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti OC except that it has a second copper heat pipe to help improve thermal efficiency. The two fans on the cooler are also slightly larger at (100mm), and the GPU also has a more substantial factory overclock that takes the boost to maximum 1845MHz out of the box.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC Black Gaming graphics card is a compact yet powerful mid-range solution. That being said, this GPU is short and relies on a single fan. Equipped with thick aluminum heat sink, it greatly contributes to cooling efficiency. Keep in mind that a single fan can be both a good or a bad feature. This makes the card compact and easily fits into most small cases. On the other hand, the single fan has to spin much faster to keep the temperature low, making it less efficient and louder.

You can safely overclock this card up to 1845 MHz GPU Boost Clock, as an overclocked model of this card is also available at a small additional price, namely EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC GAMING. You can use EVGA Precision X1 overclocking software to overclock this card for extra performance and get more juice. The board requires an 8-pin PCI-E power connector and has a power consumption of 130 watts, which is 10W above the reference board (120W). A 500W power supply is recommended for this card for proper operation. Rear display connectivity options include DisplayPort, HDMI, and DVI.

EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti XC Black Gaming is definitely one of the more affordable solutions. As for aesthetics, it features a simple matte black shroud with some minor details that give it a unique identity and set it apart from other variants. All in all, a simple and affordable single fan graphics card that you can easily get if you’re not that keen on fancy features and are on a tight budget.

  • Powered by nvidia turing with 1890 mhz boost clock, 1536 cuda cores and overclocked 6gb gddr6 memory
  • Supports upto 4 monitors displayport 1.4 and HDMI 2.0; Digital max resolution:7680x4320
  • Full cooling control with directcu III with axial tech fans to increase airflow through the heatsink...

The ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1660 Ti comes with premium cooling hardware and the fastest factory overclock we’ve seen so far. If you demand a bit more premium, you might want to go for the Nvidia RTX 2070 instead. This graphics card delivers exceptional performance with a cooler design and highest clocks that you could hardly find in any other mid-range GPU. Although you have to overclock this device to get the most out of it.

The boards also have metal frames for structural integrity and additional cooling for key components such as VRMs and memory modules. A metal backplate helps promote cooling from the back of the PCB and literally puts steel in the back of the board. Fans of RGB LEDs will also be delighted with the fairing of this cooler. These LEDs can be controlled and synchronized with other LEDs in the system.

Since the graphics card has a triple fan, you’re probably one of those users who want to invest the extra money for a more advanced cooling solution that pushes the GPU to its ultimate limits. Similar to the MSI unit, the ASUS variant can easily exceed 2000 MHz. Ultimately, since it uses a more advanced cooling solution, it’s obvious that the RoG Strix GTX 1660 Ti costs a bit more than the average GTX 1660 Ti. While this isn’t a significant price increase, it does make it a stone’s throw from some cheaper RTX 2060 models, making the value of this card a bit questionable.
